Night Two at Miss Utah

Pleasant Grove is mighty proud tonight! Have you ever seen 3 more beautiful ladies than these? Staci, Whitney and Kami really lit up the stage tonight! Staci was drop dead gorgeous in her evening gown! She should have won it! She looked stunning! Whitney and Kami competed in talent tonight and Whitney won the talent preliminary! Way to go ladies! You are all 3 spectacular!

Our Little Miss Sadie was amazing too! She looked adorable in her beautiful white dress and made her mom and dad really proud! The "Little Miss" is a mentoring program in the Miss America system... the little girls are featured with their "queen" in the evening gown portion of the pageant!

Strawberry Day's Baby Contest

Wednesday was the Baby Contest! I have never seen so many babies! The gym at the new Rec Center was filled to the brim! So many cute babies... dressed to the hilt! Fun Day!

Miss Utah and Strawberry Days!

This is going to be a really crazy week! I will be posting events from Strawberry Days...mixed in with events from Miss Utah... since they are both being held the same time! So it may be a bit confusing... but enjoy!

Strawberry Day's First Event

Concert in the Park! Fun evening with great "oldies" music... loved it! The girls had a great time throwing frisbee's to the kids and signing autographs and dancing with all the little kids!

Miss Utah 2009

Miss Utah begins! The first event is the "Show Us Your Shoes"! Traditionally at Miss America during the parade on the boardwalk... the spectators would yell to the contestants..."Show Us Your Shoes" ! Miss Utah has an event too....the girls make shoes that represent her community! Really fun! The girls are amazingly creative! Staci's shoes were Spectacular! Her mom made the cutest Purple Turtle shoes ever!
